I put my foot down....

Hubby bought four foam *mattresses* back in the late 80s/early 90s for nieces to sleep on when they would come an visit with their parents (his brother/SIL and my brother/SIL).
Good for you! I know your kids will be much more comfortable on the Aerobeds than ratty foam mattresses!
We actually have lots of space for sleeping here, but it doesn't look like it at first glance.

hmmmmm,
Good for you !!!
Glad you put your foot down Deb.
You are very accomodating, giving your bed to your inlaws! I've never thought of doing that, never thought of asking anyone to do that and it has never been offered, lol!
Well, the couple of times I've house/pet sat for C and B for a weekend

I'm not real big on having guests, either so, thankfully, most of the time C, B, and R are the only ones who visit and they know me well enough that I'm comfortable with them.

I do not have a guest room, nor do I want one!! Houseguests is way not my thing!! I don't stay in other people's homes either! Give me a nice hotel and I'm happy and I'll steer guests to our hotels too!! Bah humbug!! LOL!!
It's just too uncomfortable and too much work with bathrooms and breakfast and constant attention and..and..and..well, you know how it goes!! And then there's the sheets and towels and dishes and all of that!!
My kids live nearby, so they don't need to stay here. As for the grandkids, the two oldest don't stay here anymore when their parents are out of town, or only one at at time stay here. They sleep overnight at their other grandparents home nearby as they have two guest rooms. Yay!! LOL!! When one stays here, we have a Queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room and a guest bathroom. We also have two foam rubber "slabs" I call them, like your's I'm sure, that I've had for about 25 years now. They have become softer, but when putting one on top of the other and then bedding on top of that, they're good for younger grandkids to sleep on. They're in storage when not in use.
