Ann our water is the same way... cloudy (but tastes OK). We have a brita filter on the counter that we use to make tea/coffee,, otherwise the tea is cloudy and that's sooo unappetizing not to mention the yucky taste!

Not even our cat likes our tap water! I usually give her Brita water or fridge water. She's such a nut about the water out of the fridge! Every time I take her dish to the fridge door and get water, she's right there, trying to see and wanting a taste before I even put it on the floor! I tell her it's water, and it's always going to be water, but she seems to think someday it'll be something better!

reading thru here....Suzan & Ann...(being a plumber's wife)...anyone ever mention installing a charcoal (sp?) filter (for taste & odor)...under your kitchen sink ??? The water coming out of our kitchen faucet.tastes like spring water...other faucets..NOT so much !.......just thought I would throw my 2 cents in there !

We do have a filter, and it helps for a day or two, lol, but it must not be charcoal, because it doesn't last long. One day I'll get my dh to spring for the extra cost and get a good charcoal filter. But, because he can't taste how bad it is (how he can't, I don't know), he doesn't think it's bad.
