My whine:   still ill, it's really getting me down.  Just when I think i am starting to feel human again, I'm not.
I miss Coffee.   She's better off over with dil who takes her in the forest to run around in the snow every afternoon while pushing the baby.  Have to admire her for taking him out rain, snow , sleet or hail.... he needs his fresh air.   (she sends me photos)  That's a wahoo.

My wahoo:     My plants are starting to bloom, happy about that,,, amazing what a little fertilizer can do .  OH and BTW,,,ANN, how are you doing with your orchid?  If you have not watered it,, thinking you should.. hope you got my directions.   Thought about you yesterday while watering mine... I have 6 of them.

My Whines:  It snowed overnight. We got about 5 inches. Not as much as the counties along the lake, but enough to be depressing to look at.  It's almost March! I want it to be Spring!!!
I didn't sleep well last night. I kept waking up really thirsty and my back hurt more than usual.

I think our humidifier on the furnace is broken. I haven't heard it in awhile, so that could account for why I was so "dry". And why I'm getting zapped by static electricity all the time.

My Wahoos: My orchid is still alive. I watered it over the weekend. It seemed odd to have it in such loose stuff that the water ran right through, but I guess that's all it needs. It gets a little sun in the morning, and on gray days, I have a grow light that I shine on it for a little while (from a distance, but it's light and I thought the plant might like it, lol).

I'm making clam chowder in the slow cooker for my lunch. It's a very easy recipe, but I think it's good, so easy is just a bonus, lol.

Yes the orchid substance is very different.  Mine is like little pieces of bark almost.....  the less you do with them the better.   What  color is it?

{{Suzan}} I'm adding a WHINE that you are still ill and down.Your body and heart is storing up lots of snuggles & kisses for Mikey & Coffee. So nice that DIL is getting out for walks & fresh air. My plants are buried under a few feet of snow

Ann...so glad you did not get hit too hard! I sure hope Donna is ok and others in the midwest & middle states. Here we have gotten all our winter storms in the past 3 weeks and it's not done!

I hate when it gets cold & dry in the house...so staticy & everything zaps...GGGRR!

Your orchid sounds pretty. I am good with houseplants not anything delicate

Suzan...Awww..sorry you're still not feeling well. Gosh, you were just beginning to get out to build up stamina and work on walking again and then boom..not well enough yet.  Some of these things take longer to get over them. Hope you get to see Coffee and the rest of your family again soon.

Wonderful that your plants are beginning to bloom!! I don't have any spring bulbs planted at this house, but loved seeing them peeking their noses up at my former house. I used to buy myself fresh flowers often, too, but the prices keep going up and up so I don't do that much anymore either. I'll just wait until spring to enjoy my neighbors plants and until we can finally plant annuals too!!
