Thanks Pat,  she's doing very well health wise so that's the main thing.  Normally she goes swimming everyday for exercise, but happened to mention on Monday that she wasn't going this week as she just feels "too heavy".   I'm taking her to her gyn appointment this morning so we'll see how the baby is doing.

fun to think you'll be seeing one of "your babies" real soon .....   they grow up but are still out babies ;O)

I don't find instructions to be very simple anymore either D,, but I think it's because I have less patience now than when I was younger... Same with me, short on patience and especially when instructions are NOT simple!! Dh figured out a problem today with syncing my two Kindles and when he was finished I told him that he'd better stay healthy and not get dementia for without his smart brain on these technical things, I'm screwed!!! LOL

Good luck with our speech (lessone) tonight D, it'll be fun... Thank you, it was good!

Grandma gd evening sounds good,, thinking she'll need something new to start school with... earrings are perfect!  ;O)  have fun with that too.Thank you! It's still not confirmed, but if we do get to do it, it will be fun for sure!

Gee Pat, I would have thought the apples come out much later... early Autumn.... lot I know. LOL
Glad to hear you worked on your quilt, must be nice to be able to quilt. My mom made some really lovely quilts , I did not get her talent for that or for crocheting.

How long will Jeremy be staying?

Hi Bunny, ohhhhhhh what a wonderful trip. That part of the country is my favorite. Lake George is beautiful and fun too. I used to go there for the afternoon (lived in upper NYS so a 1/2 drive for us)..... what gorgeous scenery you'll be travelling thru... have fun and yes, be sure to take photos. I'm green with envy! See ya soon, wow school starts, bet the munchkins are all ready... (gear wise anyway, not sure if they are anxious to end vacation and get back to school)

Monday...Had no particular plans, so I did two loads of laundry and fixed dinner. DH and I worked for about an hour and a half this afternoon getting my new basic Kindle in sync with my Kindle Fire and getting rid of Kindle Cloud Reader. The Cloud Reader is more for putting documents on your Kindle and I don't want to do that. Hate when they use the term "simply" in their instructions!! There was nothing "simple" about it!! Finally got it done, though, and bought a new book. Now reading Colony by Anne Rivers Siddons, good so far. Tonight we sat on our deck talking and reading, beautiful weather here.

Tuesday...Getting my nails done and then going over my lesson that I'll be giving at my TOPS meeting that night.

Wednesday...No plans.

Thursday...Hope to firm up plans for a Grandma-Granddaughter night with my oldest DGD, age 15. We'll go eat and maybe shop for earrings or something or whatever she wants to do. If that doesn't work out, DH and I might go to a neighborhood dinner that night.

Friday..Saturday..Sunday...No plans other than church Sunday.

Wow, not much going on this week!! I'll have to do something about that!! :womanvery-happy:

Have a good week everyone!!

Ann, I don't like phoning at all either, and like you not even my ds or dh... if I have so much to say they better come on home and we'll talk, same with friends... guess I did enough talking on the phone as a teenager,, the phone practically grew out of my ear.... half the time I don't even bother to answer the phone (thanks to caller ID,, I love it LOL)

Wow I can't believe we're all alike on this phone thing!  I don't like talking on it either.  I took voice mail off the home phone so I don't have to listen to endless messages.  I figure they'll call back and I may or may not pick up then.  lol   And definitely have caller ID.  I do have voice mail on my cell phone but don't give that # out freely.

The only calls I do regularly take are my friend and my mom.  We talk everyday, more of a check-in.

I find I text my kids much more than calling.  I like texting!
