today I'm waiting for 2 deliveries (one arrived and I realized dh already has one of the books I bought him so that will be returned ). The other delivery is for the office and I wish it would arrive as I'm pinned to home until it does. LOL Cleaning lady will arrive any minute now, hopefully.
Tuesday dh and I are taking our new neighbor out to lunch. I'll let you know how it goes as she is the mother of one of Germany's best actors (comedy) , she seems nice, so it should be different . I haven't ever watched any of her son's movies and I probably should have over the weekend. LOL Anyway......
Wed, perhaps Coffee will be here in the afternoon.
Thursday is free and I have to start thinking about menus for the next 12 days etc and do some real reorganizing to accomodate the inlaws. They arrive on Sat , and they like to have their 3 full meals every day and a high tea at 5pm..... (so not looking forward to this). I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get onliine while they are here so you'll all have to help me out with this board; I'm sure you understand .
I got just about all my wrapping done which is a huge help, (won't be able to do that while they are visiting) . I have a few more things to buy (for my ds and dil, still not sure what yet).
Thursday is Nickolas day, so hope to see Mikey and Coffee and give them their Nickolas Sacks. Mike is getting a little blue and white fleece hat and warm matching mittens and C is getting her favorite thing : a goodie! (she's not picky about her goodies,, just like her grammy LOL)
Ok so off to the couch to start reading my XMAS book.
Tootles and TTY throughout the week. ;O)
I'm still running pretty slow. Still fighting this darn cold. I can't completely shake off this cough! It's better, I think, but still, when I cough, it just about turns me inside out, lol! But things still need to be done, so I manage.
Since it was 50 degrees here yesterday, dh brought what Christmas stuff we have in the attic down and put the lighted garland and wreath outside. I put a few things around the house and will work on doing more throughout the week.
Today I'm doing laundry, as usual, and have a roast in the crock pot, so dinner is pretty much set. Since the presents are hiding in the basement (so C and R wouldn't see them when they were here), I'll drag the box of wrapping stuff down there and start wrapping on the table I cleared off, and break my tradition of wrapping everything on the living room floor! I think my back will thank me, lol.
Tuesday I have to go see the oncologist. Not the radiation oncologist, the other one, lol. I think he'll probably just go over the blood test I had and tell me what, if anything, is next.
Wednesday through Friday I'll work on putting out decor and wrapping gifts, so the house will be done by Saturday, when we plan to put up the tree.

you are very organized lately , cold or not! Hope that goes away soon, better now than later in the month....
I think you made a good choice of wrapping at the basement table.... yes, your back and hip too will thank you. I'm still amazed at T and all he does... really he got right out there and put up lights and all..... just thinking you'll be all set by Sunday with the tree up and everything.... that's terrific.
Ann, my thoughts are with you on Tuesday, hoping and praying all is well now..... (()) Keep us posted pls.

i am finally back online but not on my computer. having to use mo's until the wifi is hooked up and this one is ancient.

supposed to go out with a friend from church later in the week, but not sure now if we will.

Darn IVillage!!! Suzan..I couldn't find this thread, so I thought maybe you were too busy or not feeling well or the inlaws had arrived and were taking up all of your time, so I posted a LaTTe Ladies thread for you. Then I found this one *WAY* down the board. So, I went back and edited mine saying..No text..Please disregard.. in the subject title. So far it's still showing LaTTe Ladies, etc.!!! Grrrr!!!!
Anyway...My week so far.....
Monday...Spent the day home mostly just relaxing. Then DH and I began watching Lifetime Channel Christmas movies at 3pm and finished watching at 11pm...4 movies in a row!! Waste of time?? Nah, it was a nice time!!
Tuesday...About to run a couple of errands and then tonight is my TOPS meeting.
Wednesday...We're going to my youngest dgs's (age 11) school band concert, he plays trunpet. Fun!!
Thursday...We're going to my oldest dgs's (age 12) school choir concert. More fun!!
Friday...Going with dh to his eye exam appt.
Saturday...No plans.
Sunday...Sunday school & church. Then we'll watch the new Hallmark movie on ABC 'Christmas With Holly"...if I remember that it's on that is..lol!
Of course we'll be doing some Cmas shopping too.

I totally understand about not seeing the threads that have been posted, they seem to fall in the back pages and it happens to me and yes it is totally annoying... (which I as cl am not suppose to say on the board so as not to be negative of course, but heck, who are we kiddin', things are not going well with the fixups and everyone here knows it, so we're just talkin' about things.... LOL Oh, but I don't see the Latte Ladies heading as you said; I just see "No text....." as the heading.... anyway, thank you for starting it for me... ;O)
D, hope your weigh in goes better this week,, but if not then don't worry. This is a real hard season,, just is , always will be..... but you'll get to your goal,, and it's nice that you have set a day to get there, but don't be hard on yourself if it takes a couple seconds more than desired. ;O) (forever giving you the support you need...)
Have fun at the concerts,,, BTW, how was the dance concert last week?
I too have spent hours watching movies, usually when my dh is away ,, (he'll only watch one at a time per night). It's fun.
Inlaws arrive on Sat evening, then well... my life as I know it now will be no longer...... hmmmmmmm I told my dh that I hope they will not expect the usual "Hilton Hotel little miss Martha Stewart Treatment " they are used to getting here. It'll be more like ".... anyone want some tea?..... Well, to your right is the kitchen and BTW grab me a cup of tea with sugar on your way back in...." LOL I'll still be gracious but that's about it.
How am I feeling,,, not so well, very unsteady on my feet, neck is aching a bit, arms are painful again, etc etc etc..... very upsetting for me..... (stomach is still not totally OK yet but that is a separate thing)
Hi Ellen,,, nice to see you, wondered where you are.... hope your WIFI gets hooked up soon,,, it's confusing enough here at the forum as it is without internet problems.
Why are the plans to meet your friend not happening? Hope you do get to go.....

I saw your post as "no text". Maybe it just took awhile to change. I'm frustrated, too with iV losing posts. And it seems to have lost my siggie and won't let me go in and put in a new one. This latest change is the worst thing ever to happen to these boards. If I didn't like this board so much, I'd be gone. As it is, this is the only board in iV I go to anymore.
