Bunny...Oh, goodness, you have a lot of crappy stuff going on there!! That's really a shame about your son's job not panning out. How disappointing and frustrating that must be for him. I hope something else even better comes along very soon.

Nice that you're decorating for Cmas again!! I hope you and the family all enjoy it and have a good time doing it.

Sounds like it's *really* time now for your DD and little ones to get a place of their own!! Too much stress!!

Hope getting your hair done is a nice needed time of relaxation for you..enjoy!! Hope the doc can finally figure out what is going on with your health!! Hope it's no biggie and is an easy fix like an order to eat something sinfully fattening every day!! lol

Take good care..or as good as you are able..and come back soon!!

HI D

I will try again today to get to the garden store and I need bread.   ohhhhh my ds just walked in , the boys are going to a new customer and he's all dressed up in a black suit...  just love to see that.

The 17th is the day when the outlaws will be leaving having arrived on the 8th of Dec, a visit I am SOOO not looking forward to and really not well enough to have them here.   So no Cmas stuff til after they leave, enough of a problem with them here as it is.

Glad you like poinsettas, not sure what colors to buy there are such pretty ones out nowadays but am thinking plain red is the most festive.. I do like the creamy colored ones also though.

As for the weight loss, well U R right.  I've lost about 10 lbs (feeling very light on my feet LOL).  Hope to keep at this weight though, which I think I can now do.

D

Gee that sounds like a slow week for you.....  you got all the decorating done already?  Marvelous,, wanna do my place?  I'm not in the mood for it yet. Did you put up a tree or are you doing a table top one again this year ? (Thinking about that also this year, much to my ds's dismay) Anyway, I'd like to see Breakiing Dawn,,, heard it was good.    Would have to go by myself though as dh is really not into vampire stuff ....  who knows, maybe if I start feeling better.....   LOL

Don't worry about the weight in tonight,,, you know you gained a few and will have it off in a jiffy.....  (give someone else a week to be biggest loser LOL)

Have fun viewing lights around town.  I remember doing that as a child,, a special evening when we'd hop in the car and dad would drive around showing us all the lights around town.  Afterwards, my mom would have made XMAS cookies and we'd have hot chocolate.... nice memory (thank you)

Well, I'm still coughing, but feeling a little better, but Tom is still feeling really bad. He has a sore throat and a cough. He even stayed home from work today! That is very unusual for him!  Hope the day of rest helps him feel better.

Brian likes working from home, I guess. It's not exactly the kind of work he expected, but he seems to be doing well at it and the company he works for seems to be happy.

Suzan...Ohhh..the inlaws are coming!! That will be a loooooong week for you!! I so hope you're feeling well again by then as you'll really need your strength to cope with and tend to their every whim and need! ::sigh::

My favorite poinsettia color is the coral shades. I also like the red-white variegated and the creamy white is nice too, but I'm going to go with traditional red this time.

You lost 10 pounds!! Great!! That's a nice bonus for being sick!! Hope you were able to get to the garden store and get your bread too.

The party was a huge success Suzan,
While he *thought* he knew something was up he was surprised,
And we had *kids* there from the hood he grew up with which was a total surprise, LOL
Cake was excellent of course <g>
It was really a fun time & he totally loved it.
Thanks for asking :)
