Whatever you do, hope you all have a wonderful week.
I sold another book via Half.com! I made a whole.... $6.50, lol! Maybe a little more, because they're generous with their shipping allowance. So it might have been as much as $7! Like I said, not a lot, but better than nothing (or a poke in the eye...).
I'm incorrigible about books. I just can't refuse free or low cost books. I don't even care what they are! They're books! It's like a sickness with me, lol. But if it is a sickness, I caught it from my parents. My dad was one of the few people who understood the love of books as books. He'd get a new one in and if it was a nice big one, he'd show it to me and say, "Now this is a book!". I said that to my dh one time and he just looked confused and said, "uh, yeah, it is". My house is full to bursting with books and I still get more whenever I can or when I see one I haven't read or that looks good. I must have 50 books on my To Be Read list and no idea when I'll get to them all. At rummage sales I'll buy old, tattered books - no matter what the subject - because they are so old and sad looking and need me to care for them . I have one so frail I keep it in a vacuum sealed bag. It's a science book my grandfather had in grade school.
But I'm rambling. I'll quit. No one needs to know about my book hoarding tendencies, lol!

Ann..That is an interesting and very impressive book addiction!! Can't think of anything better to be addicted to!! Thank you for telling us about the extent of your love of books as I enjoyed reading about it. I also know by past stories you've written that you have a talent for writing too. Nice you were able to make a little money on the books you were willing to part with. I suspect you'll be using that money to buy more books. :)
This week I'll be training 2x (not sure which days yet), meeting a neighbor (with dh) for lunch most likely on Friday, cleaning lady Monday afternoon, see Mikie a few times, kids are off for 3 weeks on Thursday so in the morning will pick up Coffee to stay with us, and other than that just rest. This flu is a real stickler YIKES, just when I think it's totally gone it roars up it's head. We met ds, dil, Mikie, Diva last night for dinner and it was a nice visit. We usually go to the same place (simple chicken rotisserie place , easy for kids in baby carriages and dogs... LOL) . Expecting snow later this week. ugh
So that's it for me, have a great week everyone! And here is my happy little Mikie.
