Hi Everyone,

Was a kinda hectic weekend for me. This week is also busy, had a dr  appointment this morning and 1 more this week and 2 interviews (hiring for our office) on tuesday, Wed taking Coffee for her spa day, Friday lunch with neighbor lady..... yada yada yada... hopefully my training somewhere in between but it's just all so tiring.  Flu is still got me down... WOW is all I can say. Cleaning lady arrives in 1/2 hour  hopefully.

so what's your week look like?

Suzan..There isn't any place that won't "allow" you to take your own foods with you. I always order a drink, usually hot tea, and my dh or whomever I'm with orders a meal and drink too. There's nothing they can do to stop me from eating my own foods and I've not had anyone complain that I can recall. We tip well, too, so they're not missing out on that either.

Glad you got to the training center and had a good walk with Diva too. Darn on new things happening though. J and I are planning on walking every day to help me lose this weight before my deadline next Tuesday. A snow-rain mix is predicted for Thurs. - Saturday, so we might have to go to the indoor mall to walk. Hope Coffee doesn't eat anymore pine cones!!

Thanks on your comments about me meeting my goal. I really am worried and it's going to be a loooong and hard week this week!! I'll give it my best shot though!

Donna,    I find it really nice of the restaurants to allow you to eat your own foods.... they know how to get return customers.   (eventually you'll eat and will return to those places for sure).  I just liked it.

I did get to the training center today, I did an easy version and those things that don't tire me out tooo much. Then I came  home and Coffee and I went for a leisurely walk (as leisurely as it is with her.  She's better now on the leash, doesn't pull as much as she did ).   So I am well exercised today. Diva and I cuddled up and took a short nap and it was nice.  then she came downstairs and threw up...  she hasn't been eating well in the past couple days,,,, there's no snow on the lawn so I am suspecting she has eaten a pine cone again.  She's not allowed to eat them, but finds them all over and chews them anyway.....

As I went off to the training center I forgot to call the dr so missed the results, will have to call tomarrow.  Having a few "new " things happening.... so trying to figure out what that is all about.

Reading your post here I am in the mood for a nice Chinese buffet and hoped there was one tonight,, but nope it's on Wed,,,, well perhaps... just don't feel like cooking.

Have a nice week Donna. Hope the weather by you is warming up so you and J can get out and take walks around the neighborhood, so pretty there. TTYL

You'll make your goal D,,,,,  not to worry,, most important is that you are trying. ;O)

It was very good, but I didn't have anything to do with it, lol.  Brian's mom made it, along with potatoes and carrots. I made a dessert of lime cheesecake (which really tastes nothing like cheesecake and is very light and fluffy) and a carrot raisin bread. Both were very good and well liked. Riley liked the cheesecake especially, lol.  We also had soda bread, devilled eggs, chips and dip, and cheese and crackers. And Guinness, of course, to wash it all down, lol.  No one went away hungry!

Suzan...That is a busy week for you!! Hope you can get over that darned flu bug!! Nice you'll be lunching with a neighbor friend. I hope you can fit your training in as that is very important. Hope you feel well enough to do it, too, though. See that the doc took your blood today, hope they can help you get well and stay well long enough to build up your resistance more.

Hugs...Hope you get to see your son while he's there. Quiet is nice and don't worry, all will be well. :)

Ann...Hope it's a good oncologist report!! Sounds like a fun weekend you had. Little ones always seem to be the center of attention and they don't even have to do something to make that happen!! lol

Yikes..Just realized we have plans of going to three good restaurants this weekend AND I CAN'T EAT ANYTHING!!! I'll be taking my own foods with me and we probably won't even go to our favorite Sunday Chinese restaurant this time, might just skip that one this weekend. I have to be at my goal by the 26th, a week from Tuesday!! I can do this, but I'm a bit nervous about it too!! Surprised

Hi Suzan. I hope you're able to kick that flu remnant out soon!

My weekend was really nice. Out with friends Saturday night, and Sunday spent celebrating St. Pattrick's Day with Colleen, Brian, Riley and Brian's mom. Lots of good food, nice company, and sweet, funny Riley to entertain us all.

My week ahead is nothing special. I've got the usual laundry and errands to do today, a visit to my oncologist tomorrow, nothing Wed. and Thurs. and an eye doctor visit on Friday.

Hope all your doctor visits are going well Suzan,
You must remember to take it easy since you're not 100% yet!

Quiet week here ..
DH going out of town Wednesday til Friday.
Youngest flying out to see a friend on Friday.
So quiet but perhaps a bit worrisome <wink>

Hope everyone has a great week :)
