HI Everyone!

Checking in from a steaming hot Munich!
It's about 100° F here, house is really cool though even without A/C
(the entire weekend was this hot and will be until Wed for a midweek rain)
ANYHOOOOOOO,

Today was cleaning : house looks B-U-T-FUL  if I must say so myself.
I even changed the skirt on my draped table  and moved it to the other corner in the living room. Amazing what one little change can make the whole space look new and exciting!
Coffee is ill :smileysurprised:(  She's wasn't  eating much all last week while she was here with us (except all she finds on the street and in the garden: little Hoover Dog),   but since Saturday really nasty with the runs and vomiting too. Vet clinic requested we bring her  in this afternoon.  Poor baby.... her daddy (ds ) is bringing her in.

Tues, Thurs, Fri: PT

That's about all from Munich

Have a nice week......

Hi Gail,
I missed that you were going on a trip,, have fun... when you get back I hope life settles down a bit for you,, (not so much as to get boring LOL) . Probably "boring" would sound good to you at this point LOL

I've never done yoga, can't picture me now doing it either,,, but I think if I could I would like it.... relaxing... Teri (here on the board) does some yoga....

Have a good trip,, take it easy, go safely .

That's good news that you and your dh are taking a long weekend. Are you staying home or going off to a lake or something (you have the big burly boys to watch the house now.... LOL)

Have a great week,, Coffee is feeling better, at least last night she was well enough that they cancelled the appointment at the vet... ( I would have taken her anyway but I'm not her primary care taker or owner... and ds decided she looked and acted better so save the trip and injections they might give her). Will call today to see how she is.....

my house for some reason is always cool,,,, it's like a nice soft a/c'd place,,, amazing and I'm happy about that... when we're stateside in the summer we have to go to restaurants in long pants and a sweater,,, sooooo cold LOL

I'm sure the "abnormality" is just a shadow or something benign. I had an "area of concern" on my mammo last year and a follow-up x-ray and ultrasound showed nothing serious. I'll keep my fingers crossed your follow up visit will be only a scare. Best to be sure, though. Let us know how it went!

The low potassium might have caused the cramps I was getting when on the low salt diet, but I think the generic lipitor was causing some increasingly bad muscle pain and weakness in one of my legs. It was getting so I couldn't sit with my leg bent! I cut back on my generic lipitor (don't tell my doc!) and the leg got much better, so I asked my doc to prescribe the brand name, because I'd been taking that for years with no problems.  She called last night to say she'd send in the prescription and, because she ordered it, we can get it for the generic price from our insurance plan. If we'd requested the change ourselves, it would have cost us $229! Now, as long as the online pharmacy gives me the brand name, and lives up to their promise of the low price (I don't trust anyone anymore, lol), I should be fine.

donna, I also clean up before I leave as I don't ever want to come home to a mess. LOL

Diva non dog is better today, hoping it was just the heat and /or hwatever she ate came out. LOL

I think I may have found a new cleaning lady... she does the house next door and has the afternoon free after she leaves there,,, good for her and for me... perhaps just a few hours every other week. I do clean as you know, but really need omeone to clean the bathrrooms and kitchen adn floors and help me with the sheers,, stuff I just can not do anymore. We'll see. Not before Sept 10th though, she's on vacation ....
