Millie has me a little worried

This is going to sound very weird, but that's my Millie.

To look at her, there's nothing wrong. She eats, she uses her sand, her fur isn't coming out in clumps, and she doesn't seem to be in pain anywhere.

But....

Ah yes the cost of good pet care these days.... I kept all C's vet bills this past year, I'll add it all up and see ... LOL
Glad to hear she has no huge problems Ann..... I was thinking,,, do you think that she was just mad at you for going away over the weekend and of course she could smell Gage and Turbo on you when you returned.... just kiddin' but one never knows....

I wondered that, too, but I've spent the weekend at C's with her pets before and never had this kind of reaction from Millie when I got home. I haven't heard back yet about the blood test, but it's early.

Yeah, I sure am worried. Her odd behavior and the lack of answers has me tied in knots inside. I hope the pill or the allergy shot work, because another reason for elevated white blood cell counts is cancer. I hope and pray it isn't that!

The extra grooming could be from allergies. Let's hope that's all it is. Sounds like that's it. As for the fear of the floor, it sounds like something scared her while you were away. How about you sitting on the floor with her favorite treat or special food to get her to join you. If she will do that, you could play with a string or feather wand. Do you have a lasar light that you can shine around on the floor that she would run after??

Poor Millie, hope the deworming pill and the steroid shot help. Could be the paranoia is because she just doesn't understand what has happened to her body or where it came from--the itching makes her think she is being attacked! Let's hope it is as simple as that.
