Good morning, just waiting for my coffee to kick in while I gather up the brain cells.

Heading off to the gym this morning and then probably will spend the day at home doing laundry and minor cleaning.

Good morning, Suzan. I have laundry to do today, and should go get something for the week's meals, but I'm lacking energy or ambition to do anything. I think I've got the winter doldrums early. I haven't decorated, and probably won't, and the thought of making Buckeye Balls and cookies for Christmas is getting me down. So is the thought of wrapping the gifts. I know I got the gifts from the people's wish lists, but I still don't think anyone will like what I got them.

Pay no attention to me - I get like this every year. I usually get what has to be done, done, but this year, the decorating will be minimal at most. My heart just isn't in it for some reason.

Suzan's the one with the fun and nice stuff going on this week. Me..not so much!

Monday..Today is a very important day. Today our granddaughter gets her surgery!! Will be so scary when they wheel her away to the operating room, then the long wait until the surgeon comes out and tells us all went well. Next will be the long process for her to get her life back!! God's hand is on her and the surgical team and all will be fine.

Tuesday..back to the hospital. That night is my TOPS meeting. Not looking forward to weighing in after all these Christmas cookies I've been eating!!

OH my dearest Ann,,,, I do remember the same thing last year at exactly this time you had the winter XMAS doldrums. BUT you popped out of it, put up the tree etc. Does T like having the tree up and festive during the holidays? You liked it a lot last year after you put it up,,,,
As for the buckeye balls and cookies,,, well you have a HUGE reason to be wanting to make those this year....... ( and you better make them!!!!!) RILEY! Riley needs to start now to know the tradition of your making the buckeye balls and she needs to taste one. Since you are going to C's they will also want to eat some and share with other guests that drop by. So pull yourself out of the doldrums and get wrapping all those lovely things you bought for the baby (that will certainly put you in a festive mood) and then just continue on with the rest of the presents. Don't be a silly willy dear, of course they will like the presents,, why wouldn't they??? They wished them all for them themselves. So enjoy wrapping them with love.

AFter the wrapping, make yourself a hot chocolate , get your book and a heating pad and treat yourself to a nice read in your recliner!

Cheer up and that's an ORDER!!!!!! Enjoy your night out with the girls.. sounds like fun. Is this the same group that went to the movies or concert last week or the week before???

Hilary, is dil /Olly staying with you now???
I do agree, it's nice to be with the kids and grands (and furbabes) but one still needs some time off for personal things and sleep. Hope you get some soon and get back to a routine as soon as the holidays pass.
WOW on your weather. WE had the longest driest warmest autumn in Germany in the past 4 decades . It was amazing. Your turn will come and the summer will end up a scourcher.

Have fun at lunch,, are you going to that ecological lodge you went to the last itme?

So today was a bit different than planned, no time to relax. Dh picked me up and took me out to lunch with another friend. It was nice. AFter that we went on up to the mall and looked around and had tea at Starbucks (i'm not really a starbucks fan) but that's what 's popular here so we partake in the experience LOL After that picked up MIL/FIL and had dinner at a local place , and now we're home 10 pm.

Weather is cold but dry.
