Definitely going to be a busy week.

Today I tore apart the dryer and vacuumed out the lint.

They need to wave as their planes pass, lol ! You are so right about visiting, Hilary. I had a hard time convincing him that a trip like that needs a lot of planning and like you said, minimum of two weeks visit. Plus they don't quite get that traveling for long amounts of time is a bit harder on our older bodies. I would have loved to have met up with you though. :)

Definitely a LONG flight to Australia and no matter how often you do it it does take a few days to get over the jet lag. You never know .. one day you might make the trip. MORE than worth it and for sure .. coffee is on me .. would be cool! My ddil rang a while ago and is off to emergency. She has thrown her shoulder out and little Oliver is a quite a handful. Glad ds will be home Thursday ::sigh:: Lucky her family is close by but dh and I will be on call during the day tomorrow ..................

I read about all the flooding up there, just awful,, that one area being totally cut off from land now. Very scary. Too bad about your weather really.....
I used to drink my coffee black, now it bothers my tummy a bit, actually all coffee bothers my tummy, so drink it very sparingly ;O)

Hoping your parents get home safely with no traffic jams along the way..... no a good time for them to be travelling. YIKES

I was lucky in that aspect, my ds loved everything. Ate spinach, peas, brussel sprouts, you name it. I just made all his food on his plate into faces so he could grab an eye or nose ........ gee, grands won't eat dog food? What's wrong with them... LOL

Oh that would have been a marvelous trip,, but I agree it's really not enough time for a long trip like that. I can't do those anymore either,, these old bones need time to get back to normal after a long flight in economy. I'm so glad The Boy was able to experience all that he did, a once in a lifetime trip for sure. Well, then again, if the expedition sets out again, perhaps they will invite him again.

ohhhh raccoons,, glad I don't have that problem, they can be really destructive. We make weasels here, they stay out of the garden but make a mess of your brake lines on your car. dangerous destruction.

have a nice week and hope you get those garters done.
