HI Hilary, I replied to this in another post,,,,, playing catch up on this board when we all get talking is difficult! My dh just doesn't ask the questions and as I wasn't sure why they were doing this MRI, but I've had enough of them to know that they don't just do one for a general checkup unless they have a feeling something may not be right. That all "escapes" my dh..... he was like "well it's just part of my checkup..." (hmmmm) . And as you know since we didnt know the reasoning behind it , you never know what the outcome is. If dh were alone and it was not good news he might opt not to tell me.... hence I went and glad I did.

Pat, I lose my message sometimes when I accidentally hit the Quote button instead of the color or font options. I wish the buttons weren't so close togerther!!

Your last Saturday sounded like a fun day!! Hate when work interferes with fun!!

It is interesting to compare prices and lifestyles and all or most things are relative I guess.

Yep well , they can just ask as much as they want as there is no alternative,,, except moving. I think Greenland has that same problem... I had seen a documentary on Greenland YIKES. I can really understand why the internet is such a huge help there,,
Hilary, (stupid question),, when you order from AMazon , is it coming from the UK or do you have your very own amazon in Australia.

Tooooo bad about the prices at IKEA,,, pathethic really and sad . They are opening their 3rd IKEA in München next year,, we need that like we need a third "teet"... LOL I always say this, but what in heavens sake is in store for our kids... how will they ever be able to keep up,, salaries are high but not that high.
