Hi friends...you are right, we do have some smart doctors in charge of our DGS's case!! It would have been harder if we had to travel a long distance to a specialty hospital.

Bunny, you're right, sometimes things happen for a reason. The docs are hoping now that this delay and halo brace will allow her bones to grow naturally and close some of the gap between her head and neck. That would be a good thing, more of her own bone and less doner bone to do fusion. So, we'll hope for that. Hey, tell Miss Catherine I said, "Hi!" back to her!! :)

Ohhh sorry Donna to hear about this...BUT...ya know sometimes "things" happen for a reason !!! We all know that everything is in the hands of the big guy up stairs..& seems like he is thinkin this will be best for Sierra !!

It's a blessing having doctors that are taking such good care of Sierra and having family together. Will continue with prayers.
