Got a call from Jeremy's friends very early this morning. He got hurt playing soccer. Dislocated his knee and tore ACL possible MCL & PM and any other L in a knee! OWIE....OUCHIE!!!! The pics are pretty gross
He is in the hospital at the Navy base on Guam...for now.The swelling is so bad they cannot get a good MRI to see damages...maybe next week.As long as he stays off it...hahaha! He will,I'm sure. If just ACL,the surgery will be done there.If other ligaments involved like the doc thinks he will got to mainland hospital for major repair surgery & long recovery.Surgery will not be for at least 2 weeks due to swelling.
.So sad talking to him as he is just depressed and very tired from meds.So MUCH pain

Oh, no!! That's a lot of injury!! Poor Jeremy!! Poor you!! I know you wish you could be with him right now!! It's so hard on us moms when our kids are going through rough times!! I hope this all heals up well and that he cooperates with the doctors and stays off of it!! Will say a prayer for good healing!

Thank you, Donna. It's gonna be a long haul.So hard not to be there.I'll have to wait & see where he will have surgery.If it is stateside maybe I can get there.

That has got to be painful--sorry to hear about Jeremy's injury. Hope you are doing ok, Pat; and if he comes stateside for the surgery you can be there with him.

He put up some pics- pretty gruesome....YUCK! It is tough not be able to get there.He is pretty down and in some pain.His friends are great help.
