I know this is a really random question, but just to keep the thread going.
My feet are currently size 10. I wear a size 10 in high heels, flats, and sneakers, and I wear a size 9 in flip flops. A lot of my friends and family have claimed that because I'm size 10, my feet are huge. I don't think so at all. I've had fellow female friends with size 12+ feet (a lot of my friends were athletes, and tall ones at that). I'm 5'9" without shoes, so I'm not that tall, especially compared to those friends I was referring to. I've also tended to be self consious about my size, and that hasn't always been good. Once, back in college, I went out to bowl with friends, and instead of getting a size 10 bowling shoe, I got a size 9. My feet were so sore and swollen by the end of that night, and I quickly learned not to be too self-conscious.
So, what's your shoe size, have you ever been self-conscious about your feet or shoe size, and at what size do you consider someone to have "big feet"?

Gail...Take a look here. These are casual wide shoes from shoebuy.com. They sell even wider widths than that if needed. Look to the column to the left and you'll see many more catagories to scroll through and click on in this width. They give you free shipping both receiving and returning......

I also wear a shoe lift, but I wear it inside my shoe. Therefore, I have to have 'mary jane' strap or tie shoes to help hold them on my one foot with the lift. I've been able to find some cute mary jane's with narrow strap for a more dressy look. Maybe there's something there that you could wear too.
Think I have looked here before, just looked again and no luck. Am looking for althletic shoes with a certain kind of sole to make it easier for the outer build-up as well as nicer looking. I also wear just a slight lift insert along with my outer build-up. I went from 2 1/2 inch build up to 3/4 inch total inside and out after my hip replacement surgery.
Hi Ann, you'll see they won't be troll feet. ;O) Just a hint but do all the pedicures at home AFTER your shower when the feet are soft and subtle..... it really helps. Cream cream cream,, I keep a tube of special foot cream in my night stand and cream every night when I hop in bed. Not it doesn't make a mess of the sheets either. (hand cream or other just isn't strong enough,, it should have Urea and Panthenol in it to do any good)
I am a size 8.5 - 9.5 depending on the shoe. I have 3 pairs of shoes - tennis shoes, sandals and slippers.
I too prefer to be barefoot, though in the winter it is impossible. If I have to wear shoes in the summer I usually wear my sandals.
I have to "sand" my feet every couple of weeks cause of the years of wandering barefoot, but it is the price I pay for being comfortable. I have tried various lotions and though they make my feet soft, they don't stop the callus build up. I wish I could wear flip flps but that middle toe thing drives me batty.
