Lots of repeats on TV so have been watching "Damages" (Glenn Close), it's good, really have to pay attention LOL

I finished reading Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo,, liked it alot and ordered the next two in the series (Kate Burkholder series). Delivery arrive on Wednesday, hopefully.  She was a new author for me and glad to say I will continue to read her books til boredom sets in LOL

This week I started yet another new author , Debra Anastasia.   I'm really liking her book called "Poughkeepsie" , VERY different and keeps my nose glued to the book,, not sure why it does but it just does.

What about you?

You're right, there are a lot of reruns on, so I don't watch a lot of tv.  I've been watching some of the Olympics, though, and a show on our public broadcast channel called History Detectives. And I watch my soap opera, The Young and the Restless, although it's boring and I hate most of the characters. It makes me wonder why I keep watching.

I recently finished Fifty Shades of Grey. It was okay. Steamy, graphic sex scenes, but nothing I haven't read about before. I guess when you get to my age, nothing shocks you, lol. And I hated the two main characters. - especially that spineless girl.
Now I'm reading one called Impossible, by Nancy Werlin. It's a young adult book (but not "teen angsty" YA), that has it's basis in the Scarborough Fair song. It's interesting, a little suspenseful, a little supernatural and a little young love/romance. Just the break I needed after the "Grey" book.

Update: I finished Impossible, lol, so now, after perusing my options and lists of To Be Read books, an anthology of horror stories by Jack Ketchum called Peaceable Kingdom has called to me. I'll start that soon.

I had heard all the hoopla about Shades of Grey,, and thought I better check it out... but all I could find out is that it's just about sex mainly so thought,,, nah, how . I like to keep up with REALLY popular books,, I almost never read Harry Potter or Twilight and then decided that's silly I better try them and then rifled thru them all..... glad I did... but Shades.... welll just not sure....
