Lots of repeats on TV so have been watching "Damages" (Glenn Close), it's good, really have to pay attention LOL

I finished reading Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo,, liked it alot and ordered the next two in the series (Kate Burkholder series). Delivery arrive on Wednesday, hopefully.  She was a new author for me and glad to say I will continue to read her books til boredom sets in LOL

This week I started yet another new author , Debra Anastasia.   I'm really liking her book called "Poughkeepsie" , VERY different and keeps my nose glued to the book,, not sure why it does but it just does.

What about you?

I've read all of the Twilight books and the Harry Potter books. I loved the HP books, but was just so-so on the Twilight books. I couldn't get past my annoyance with that wimpy, whiny Bella and the depiction of the vampires. Vampires don't sparkle, lol! I'll probably read the next "Grey" book after I finish the one I'm reading now. Like Deb, I want to know why the guy is the way he is.

I've never seen Breaking Bad, but I put it on my Netflix queue because it sounded interesting. We'll see...

I love horror stories. I've been reading them most of my life, so never get scared by them (well, maybe once or twice, reading alone, late at night, I got a little freaked, lol). These stories aren't as good as Stephen King or early Dean Koontz (or Robert McCammon, ooh, he's good!), but so far the stories are readable, lol.

I did like both the HP & TW but I mainly read them so that later on in life I wouldn't have to own up to the fact that I had never read them. They were both such hit especially HP., To this day I am in awe of how Rowling got those pictures on the walls to come alive. Amazing writing. As for Bella, I was always hoping that somehow she'd choose the werewolf LOL

oh me too, suzan. LOL

i went to forks when i was in washington. they have signs about twilight being filmed there. we didn't go down by the beach but i was told there are signs down there that say beware of vampires and beware of werewolves. it's just a really sleepy little town and most of the stuff was filmed in oregon. but there were some souvenir shops along the main road. there was only one open the day we were there and it was really pricey so i didn't buy anything. had my picture taken with a silhouette of jacob and then with my face in place of bella's between edward and jacob. LOL
