Donna, I go to the library every two weeks and usually get four books read in that time--but of course that depends on the storyline and length of the book. I get most of my reading done when I'm minding our shop--really hate it when a customer calls or comes in and I get interrupted in a good spot in the book (LOL)--probably won't have as much time since we've been getting rain, along with the warmer temps, to make the weeds grow! But more business is good!

Suzan, I do most of the reading when I'm stuck tending the shop--as things pick up I won't be reading as much. I go to the library every two weeks and get four books and usually get them all read--If I don't get them read I can renew the ones I didn't get finished.

I could read that many, too, if I was in a similar situation as you. Unless there was a computer that was available for personal use that is!! Somehow researching this and that or gabbing with you gals has a strong pull on me!! If I were you, I would get annoyed, too, if a customer interrupted me!! lol! Yes, more business is good for you!! What I really need is more hours in the day!!

Tonight we tried to watch The Bridesmaids. What a crass, nasty, foul, ludicrous movie!!! We got about a half hour into it and couldn't take it anymore it was so bad and turned it off!! This movie has won or been nominated for a long list of awards!! I don't get it, maybe it's just us. We gave it a one star rating and would have given it less if there was a lesser choice!

Oh I wish we had paperback swap over here,, (in English that is LOL)
Dh brought me up to the bookstore today (the smaller one closer to us) and I bought The Language of Flowers that was also recommended here . I did not find the Snowflower but will either order frm Amazon or get it downtown when I go to the big English only book store. Thanks Ann

OH I used to read much more,, (before iVillage, that just takes up tooo much of my time now... LOL)

Enjoy your reading.... good idea, I'll go off to the library on Friday morning,, it's a 4 minute car ride for me with their own underground parking.

BTW Michelle, since you mentioned The Language of flowers in your other post and you said you enjoyed it, that's the book I bought today.
