Donna...I love the kids books...& these 2 girlies LOVE books...LOVE them....DD reads to them ALL the time....along with all the dramatic voices & movements...LOVE to watch her read & interact with her girlies !!!!

I don't allow Hannah Montana or other "Tween" shows...Plus Sponge Bob...just weird......Ohhhhh & Curious George....the foolish monkey does'nt talk...just grunts & groans....NOT ALLOWED ...that is when a Disney movie goes on !!! We belong to a Disney movie Club....get all the up tp date movies !!
Oh Yessss....on the kids sitting on each arm of the chair & always end up in my lap...they are real snugglers !!!

If I could send them home before Dinner that would be wonderful...ohhhh I dislike that bewitching " Dinner Whine Hour" OMG !!!!! I had Matthew & Cameron when they were young ..ALOT,,,,, & I could'nt wait till 6:00 pm...everybody seems to be at the end of thier preverbal rope !!!!!

I am CHILDLESS this afternoon......thier other grandparents have them.!!!!!!! NOT liking this idea....as they will be off the wall..& wayyy over tired & past thier bed time, when they arrive here.....& Gramma will have to deal & get them to chill down...give them a bath & settle in for bed....DD works till 10:00 pm...gets home around 11:00 ....rambling again !!! Day by day...is our mantra !!

Don't like Daniel Craig as James Bond either...but he was good in this one...It is a harsh reality movie...but enjoyed it...Did you read the book...nothing 'light' about it...

I quit watching The River. It looked so good in the previews, but was just weird, I didn't like the hand-held camera effect and most of the characters annoyed the heck out of me, lol.

No , actually it's exactly what I wanted to know. Sometimes there are programs on the German channels that are American sitcoms , dramas but the series name is changed so I wouldn't recognize it but would if I new what it was about... so thank you. ;O)

Donna, I go to the library every two weeks and usually get four books read in that time--but of course that depends on the storyline and length of the book. I get most of my reading done when I'm minding our shop--really hate it when a customer calls or comes in and I get interrupted in a good spot in the book (LOL)--probably won't have as much time since we've been getting rain, along with the warmer temps, to make the weeds grow! But more business is good!

I could read that many, too, if I was in a similar situation as you. Unless there was a computer that was available for personal use that is!! Somehow researching this and that or gabbing with you gals has a strong pull on me!! I won't use the business computer to

I went years without reading many books--especially when we lived in Germany. So much to see and do. It wasn't until we moved here (with so little to see and do), and really only in the last couple of years, that I began reading all the time again. Guess I'm trying to play catch up (LOL)!

I'm sure you will enjoy The Language of Flowers!

Enjoy your blu ray,,, ds has one,, (is there anything that kid doesn't have sigh???)anyway, he loves it as you will love yours,, so all your new dvd's will have to be blu ray,,, are they more expensive than the normal ones?

I have only read 1 Stephen King book in my life "It" (think that was the name),, well I liked it well enough but geez that was one long book. Not a "Big King" fan unless I'm in a MacDonalds. LOL

I will get the dvd's soon, not planning to watch it in German on TV though,, thinking it would "lose something" in the translation... humor if any is not the same. Enjoy your Downtown Abbey"
