I know, and I've watched a few movies streamed to my computer, but it's not as comfortable as watching them in my comfy recliner, and a 42" screen beats a 19" or 20" monitor any day, lol.

You don't have to stream Netflix onto your tv if you don't want to.

We're Netflix members and watch their movies on our computer all the time. We also get their DVD's and watch them on our computers also. Actually watch them on dh's computer as his monitor is bigger than mine

ok .. this new DVD player of mine has something called Quickflix and we get a month's free movies because we bought the Sony player.

I know, I just hate to spend the money. I would use a game system only for streaming - I have no interest in playstation or WII games, and at the moment I'm okay getting the movies from Netflix - I can get new movies

There are streaming boxes you can get for TVs that don't have stream capability, Ann. Another choice is to buy game systems (Xbox or PlayStation) and they have streaming capabilities too.
