Last night dh and I watched an old film, The Firm (Gene Hackman and a young Tom Cruise).
It was good .....  based on a John Grishom book .
Downside was : we watched it on TV, so had to suffer thru commercials... ugh...

Teri Hi!

It worked, hope you can read this from your side!  (hope you got my email too from a couple weeks back).  Great to see you and hope your Cmas was fun.

I'll have to look into   "Room",,,,  always looking for a new author to read.  I like to watch The Good Wife,, (I like Eli !! )  Our new season shows start in January, not sure what will be shown though,, hoping for Downton Abbey,, it's on the German Channel but I'd rather watch it in English....   (picky picky)

Talk to you soon and hope you can keep posting...  gotta go let Coffee in , it's cold outside but she's chasing squirrels (no snow today)... LOL

I just finished reading/listening to Room, a Novel by Emma Donoghue for book club. I enjoyed it and so have all the others I've talked with about it. Now I'm listening to True Blue by David Baldacci. I like this one too. I usually like his books. Watching - well, it's that time of year, we're watching a lot of football and basketball. Also our regular recorded shows, CSI, Bones, Person of Interest, The Good Wife. And over the last few weeks, I've been reading the board some when I had a few minutes so I could keep up with everyone. And if all goes well this message will post and that means I can work at being here more often. Here goes - I'm going to push the button . . . Teri

I'm reading the latest in the Madeline Dare series by Cornelia Read called Valley of Ashes. So far it's not as good as previous books in the series.  In my car, I'm "reading" The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks. So far, so good.

I'm not watching much on tv lately. Just waiting for my favorite shows to come back after the holiday specials and reruns (which I don't watch).  I recently watched The Dark Knight Rises and Trouble With the Curve on DVD. Both were not as good as I thought they'd be.
