I'm happy that some of my TV shows are back on the air for the new season: The Closer, CSI:NY, and I've started watching The Newsroom (anyone watching that one?) .  Haven't seen any films lately,, would love to go to the movie theater and eat popcorn andn see something "riveting"... LOL

I'm reading "Gone Missing"  by Linda Castillo , the 4th in her Kate Burkholder (Amish Series).  I'm liking them .  I finished Susan Mallory's Barefoot Summer (first in the Blackberry Island series) , I liked that one too.

What about you ?

Just watched A Simple Plan - an older movie about how greed can totally change your life - depressing ending but Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton were excellent in it.

Just finished The River of Doubt by Candice Millard and then quickly read The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom.  Liked the first one didn't care for the second one.

My neighbor just loaned me Gossip by Beth Richardson Gutcheon so starting that.

Not watching any tv yet.

I'm not watching much right now, but am looking forward to the return of Castle, CSI:New York, NCIS, Hawaii Five-O, and Person of Interest. And I'm watching Leverage. On DVD, I'm watching the second season of Breaking Bad.

I finished listening to In the Garden of Beasts, by Eric Larson. A story about an American ambassador's family in pre-WWII Germany in 1933. It was sobering and informative.

Now I'm reading the third of the "Grey" series, Fifty Shades Freed. It's better than the first two. Although the writing still seems juvenile, it's not quite as bad, or I'm getting used to it, and the actual plot is more exciting.

I liked A Simple Plan. I thought the acting by everyone was very good, too
