I haven't read any books by Rita Mae Brown, but that series sounds cute.

I'm still reading Stephen King's 11/22/63.

If I'm not mistaken, she also has a series with cats or horses in it too. I must admit she really thinks up cute names for her books.

What are Pawn Stars (chess?) & American Pickers (farmers?)

I finished The Language of Sand by Ellen Block and am a little past half way through the sequel The Definition of Wind. I have been enjoying reading these light books about beach town life on a fictional island off the shores of the Outer Banks of South Carolina. I've been there a few times, so can picture it as I'm reading. I needed this while going into the dreaded winter months. I'm ready to finish up and move on to something else now, though, and my next one is Deception. I have it downloaded onto my Kindle Fire. I began reading a few pages of it and am now zooming faster through Definition of Wind so I can get back to Deception. I'm hoping to get it read before we go see the movie, but don't know if I can for I don't know how long Deception will still be in the theaters. Will see.

No, I've not read anything by

I've been reading Judy Blume Summer Sisters. Really good...wish I had more time to read.

Did I tell you we traded the kindle fire for a regular kindle? Wayne id that- he said the fire was acting up too much & it got too techy for him...lol. he is happy.BTW...the kindle was under the tree in my name...guess who uses it most...LOL. I loaded the kindle app to my laptop!

SOOOO...mr. non-techy has now let my dbil talk him into buying the Asus Transformer Prime.WHAT...you say...yup..me too...LOL.This is a man who 2 years ago had no use for a computer...LOL..let alone a smartphone or Ipad! He's happy...so I let him be. I love it & get to pick on him.But then...get my laptop back...lol

Not watching much on TV. Ann, American Picker was in my backyard! Dover NH & nearby in Maine. I missed it...forgot it was on...will catch the rerun.

Pawn Stars is a show about a pawn shop in Las Vegas, and American Pickers is about two guys who go all over the country, looking for people who have a lot of junk and who will let them
