I'm glad it's Friday although I have no real plans this weekend.
We will go into town early Sat morning (before the crowds) to pick up dh's repaired glasses.
We had snow yesterday , today is sunny so melting, but should snow again over the weekend.
Have a nice weekend everyone, (get healthy, stay healthy).

I'm working both jobs today...sigh....that's life! I made a batch of pumkin whoopie pies and have to get them out in the mail to Justin.Saturday is his birthday and as usual the package will be late. Sending a small package out to Jeremy too. He wanted some Pampered Chef stuff for a Christmas raffle his squadron is having.
Sat morning we are hanging out- probably do my morning cleaning.I have a pampered chef show to do in the evening. Sunday will be church & work

Hope your pampered chef show is successful and that you have fun.... it's a great time to hold a show like that with everyone hopefully thinking about XMAS present ;O)
I hope Jeremy can make it to the post office to pick up the whoppie pies this time,,,,, LOL

I think I'm going to just try to get better. I'm still coughing and my sinuses are still all stuffed up. I've tried everything I can and everything I can find that I've heard works, and cannot shake this thing! Tom's feeling slightly better, but still coughs and is stuffy, too.
We probably will decorate Tomorrow and/or Sunday. Today I'll just sit around here and cough, lol.

Hi Suzan - hope you are feeling better. Sounds like you and DH have a nice restful weekend ahead.
DH returned from a week long trip yesterday and he is exhausted. So I actually put dinner together and then we had a quiet evening just chilling, watching TV and sipping on a bottle of wine. I did a bit of knitting on a scarf that is almost complete.
Today (Saturday) I am working on things around the house - laundry, decluttering, paperwork, etc. I need to go down under and start making order out of the basement so it is ready for Christmas. Tonight DH and I are going 4 other neighbor couples to go on a tour of 3 officers quarters homes and then out to dinner at a restaurant near the homes in Fort Benjamin Harrison. Should be a good time.
Sunday, we will go to church, maybe do more around the house, watch the game. I'm also going to a very nice restorative yoga class with a friend.

Friday..Today...I got my nails done this morning and then went shopping for myself. I needed a sparkly tank to wear Sunday under a jacket that has faint sparkly threads through it. Found one and also got a pair of jeans.
Saturday...No plans and may work on my memory book that I've neglected for months!
Sunday...Skipping church. They're having our annual Stan Kenton Brass Christmas concert for the whole service. The problem for us is that there is a stained glass skylight above the alter area and pices of glass have fallen out. The specialized repair people will finally get here soon, but not in time to fix it before Sunday. So, they're having the concert in Fellowship Hall where the accoustics are not good for that sort of performance and we'd have to sit on metal folding chairs. Not good for our backs, so we're staying home. Sunday evening, though, we'll be going to my oldest dgd's (age 15) Dance Showcase. She's the ballroom dancer like on DWTS. It will be wonderful! It's at our beautiful Boat House, there will be a catered dinner, nice table settings, Cmas decorations, and everyone dresses in festive attire with glitz and glamour! Love it!! Hi...today Saturday going to pick up our son and grandsons and go downtown Mpls for the Holidazzle parade...all lights...it is so festive...then driving to St. Paul to Lake Phalen Park where there is a drive through with lights...Figure should help get me in the holiday spirit!! Then probably stop for a treat after!!
Tomorrow...church and brunch with my folks....then football and reading...oops maybe I should think about Christmas cards...will see!!
