I am off from work until Sunday afternoon. Not doing anything but hanging about the hosue...as usual. Wayne is too hot & tired to go out...gggrrrrr.....he did not sleep this afternoon  so we could go out tonite. We were suppose to go to the Americana Folk fest in Prescott Park, Portsmouth.

Saturday morning, I'll probably get up & go to Ossipee in the AM with him. Then we'll just hang out...as usual. He has to work Sat night while I am off. Tried to get a few together to go see Willy Wonka at the park but everyone has plans already.

Sunday is church & work.

Have a great weekend

Good evening! This is the first chance I've had to check in! I got to Colleen's about 11. Riley was napping. They couldn't leave till later because Brian still had some work to do, so Colleen, Riley and I went out for ice cream when she woke up.  Colleen and Brian left about 3 and Riley wandered around, played with some toys, got hungry and had an assortment of things for supper, then played some more.  About 6:30 she was acting tired, so I got her into pj's sat with her and looked at a book while she drank some milk and then put her in her crib with a little more milk (because she drank all of it and seemed to want more).  She hollered a couple times, but now I don't hear anything so I think she's out for the night.  She was an angel all day - considering she's just over one, lol.

Now I think I'll try to do a little catching up here, then watch some of the Olympics. I'm not sure when Colleen and  Brian will be home. Probably 11:00 or so. I'll sleep over here and head back home sometime after breakfast tomorrow.

My first solo babysitting gig as a grandma has gone pretty well. I know Colleen was worried Riley would give me a hard time, and will be relieved to hear it went so well.  I'm relieved, too, lol!

I'll check in again sometime tomorrow, whenever I get home and get settled, lol.

As for the rest of the weekend, We've got nothing much going on.

Hi D.

Do tell which movie you'll be watching this weekend.....?

Have fun at the farmer's market, they ARE always fun,,, all those neat things to look at and buy and taste etc.. (well not tasting for you now but.... before or later on a bit perhaps).

The musical sounds nice too.... should be interesting.

The show tonight was FABULOUS!!! All Broadway show tunes and what fantastic talent we have at our church!! It was a packed house and we all hope they'll do it again next year!!

Tune in tomorrow to hear how Farmers Market and the movie went too...lol!

Ds brought diva over so we went for a nice slow long walk with some playtime in the park. That was fun, she's walking really slowly on the leash and seems to know not to pull and yank me around.
Smart non-dog!!

Not sure about this weekend, supposed to rain all weekend. We'll see. I would like to go buy 2 frying pans on Saturday. I went thru the existing ones and chucked 2 so need to replace at least one of them. Something smallish for eggs .... If we are furbaby sitting then we'll have to go elsewhere as for some odd reason they don't allow dogs in that particular store. (THE NERVE!!!) LOL
Hope you find the right fry pans!

I made all my next PT appointments and it will take most of August and then I'll be done. My orthopedic dr did not want to give me endless PT or spine exercise classes and the gym, he thinks it's just tooooo much and that I should rest and relax. (Of course he doesn't know my version of rest & relax at home ........) He feels my body needs time to heal by itself and too much is not good. Anyway, I'm glad, as I agree with him. I'm makiing a list of all the exercises that I learned in the past couple months and will continue with those that I feel are easy and helpful and use stationary bike and hope for the best. .
Your doctor wants you to rest and relax at home?? Silly man!!! lol

That's all from me... TTYall L ;O)

today i am attacking spider webs all over the house.

Euuuu..we have some to knock down too on the front porch and around the entrance to the garage door. We've hardly seen any spiders, ants or any other bugs this summer though. Wish every summer was bugless!!

tomorrow i have to make a vegetable salad and bake a cake for sunday. we are having a luncheon at church.

They had a fabulous dessert bar at the program at church tonight. We didn't go anywhere near that bar!! I saw a picture of it, though, and it would have so hard to resist! I would have, but still would have been hard. Have a good time at your luncheon!

sunday is church.

have a great weekend. ThxU2! :smileyhappy:
