I did finally find and buy a new coat!! I've been looking for a black coat for a few years, could not find one I liked. I searched the coat department over and over, but couldn't find one..as usual. Then I went through them all one more time and found one a size smaller than what I had been looking at, in a style that I like, the price was under $200 and it looks pretty good on me I think! It comes just above the knee, more comfortable than a long one. I do have a long coat in a light color for extra cold days though.

I'm glad you found a coat, not easy to find.

I remember Winkie being extremely picky. She also would watch what we gave her. Any little thing a tad bit different and she wouldn't eat. (including the "exact" placement of her food bowl on the floor). Now Winkie was a big milk drinker and she even liked the holiday tbs of vanilla ice cream. I don't know if it made /makes any difference but the milk she had back then was from the milkman fresh from the farm: wonder if it made the difference of why she could tolerate it. So Millie is a "diva" and needs refrigerator door water,,, and I bet she gets it too! LOL

Aw, that's just not fair, Ellen. As mom's we take on too much and ask for little help. I hope you get well soon, now you can really rest and recuperate. Hope Mo is feeling better. (())

Yep, all my cats drank water primarily, with milk as an occasional treat.

Well amazing that Millie will drink water at all,, I read that cat's don't like water,,, seeeeee???? Can't believe everything I read.... WTG Millie,,,,, hope she's better now.

Well we switched the food and she ate a bit last night, and almost all this morning but not eagerly. As I said to Hilary, I have put a ban on snacking between meals,, just water for today and tomorrow to see if maybe she's filling up on too many snacks with her tiny normal appetite. (I wish I could follow the same diet LOL) I did think about the teeth,, but the vet looked at them while we were there a couple months ago and all was fine, except a bit of placque on the back tooth. I have noticed that Coffee drinks a lot of water during her meal,,, a bit of food , then water , then food , then water. Maybe it's nothing she's been doing this for over a year,, hard to tell.

Gee we're all a bunch of "old foogies" right now.... LOL
Sorry about your dh's back,,, just awful BTDT just awful.... is he taking anything for it,,
I've not read that book, have you read any of this other books?

We also have some movies to watch and will most likely do so this weekend. I'm even to tired to sit and watch a movie and stay awake! LOL

So how is little Oli?

Gee Hilary, you made it through all your big parties and stress and I'm glad to hear you are taking it easy a bit.

My tummy, well, you know the problem and it's ongoing and I have to do some "test" real soon. When we get back from Ankara most likely. Coffee 's eating is very problematic right now. She ate the new food this morning but not with gusto. Ive put her on a no snack whatsoever diet to see if that's the problem. My dil seems to be giving her snacks (however few but still too many) often during the day. Coffee never really eats a lot to begin with so any snack can really throw her off. Anyway, we are able to go out this afternoon as the weather is nice and won't be for the new few days and I need to return a couple things.

TTYL enjoy your book.
