Good that you were getting out of the house for a little while--hope you didn't buy too many groceries since you were hungry from the scent of food wafting through the house (lol)! Hope the pork chops were good--we had chops for dinner too, but I fixed them on the grill. Yummy fixed most any way! Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Donna.

Thanks Ann...truly appreciate hearing you say that ! Sometimes I feel like all I do is complain & bitch & moan !! I can't say much on FB...sooo you poor gals get it all !! lol
Bitch and moan all you need to!! Some of us have been through our own kind of bullsh*t and understand the strife and for those who haven't, they have great big hearts and care!! When going through crap, it's good to get it out!!

Poor Abigail...she has sooo many crazy nick-names...don;t ask me why !! Plus I never like using nick-names...I like thier given names....but I have about 4 names for her...dh has about 3 ....her mom & Dad have numerous endearing names for her...I think cuz she is just so sweet !!!
It's easy to fall into the fun trap of nicknames, but, like you, I prefer the given names too. Just be sure she knows her real name and, hopefully, the other cute fun names will fade away in time. Endearing names, though, are a different thing. Names like honey, sweetie, sweet pea, baby doll and things like that come and go forever and that's okay too.

Hopefully sil can attempt to mend his ways.....BUT....I am very doubtful....he is such a Bulls&%t artist...& a smoocher....I kinda think that after his lil speech to us...that we are fine now.....NOT !!! He tries to talk to us.....but not much conversation from this end...I may say yes or no....& that is it !!! .... And he thinks our DD is stubborn...heartless & uncaring.......he has'nt seen anything yet.....I don't want to even get into a discussion about "the happenings"...as I know it would end up in a screaming match...& I don't want that. & don't get me going on DH & his feelings towards him, right now !!!!! YIKEESS.......so I will keep moaning to you gals !!!
Be skeptical, be very aware and skeptical and don't give in!! So much of this reminds me of what my DD and SIL went through. He cried and threw up and carried on and begged and pleaded and made promises and she did go back to him after the first brief split. She worked her off to make the marriage work. He got better for a very short time and then it was the same crap as always!! After the second and final split, she would weaken at times when she would miss the brief good times; but I was right there to remind her of the hellishness of it all. So glad all that is two years behind us all now and she is doing so much better without him!! If your sil really truly can and will make the major changes that he needs to do, then that would be a good thing to keep their family together. Stay strong, though, for he has a lot of proving to do and hopefully will do it without your daughter.
Keep moaning, we can and will take it!! Then when one of us is going through our own kind of hell, we know you'll be right there supporting us too!! That's what friends are for!!

No, this wasn't our big grocery shopping trip, just a bunch of stuff we'd run out of midstream so to speak! The pork chop dinner was so delicious!!! I made brown rice with it and put some of the juice on it and was that ever good!! Then I bought a piece of cake, not a whole cake, just a piece that we shared for dessert. Yum!! Love pork chops in the grill, too, with a smoky grilled flavor. We don't have a grill, though, as we don't want to mess with cleaning it just for the two of us. Thanks, we will have a good rest of our week for sure! Hope your's is good, too, and that you get to relax and rest some too!! Hope the rain isn' t too bad either!! We're supposed to get rain tomorrow too.

Picked up my eyeglasses today and...they..are..perfect..finally!!!

I think I first bought them around September. This is the fourth lens change and they're finally right!! I love them!! They're light weight, lighter than my former ones, love the style, perfect for me!! This has been so frustrating!! What a relief!!

Thanks, and, yes, the guy is willing to sell Tom the ambulance, so we're off in a few hours for Colleen's, then will stay over, go to MI tomorrow, and be back here tomorrow evening. I'll check in with you all then.
