I am so relieved to hear of your dh's progress! The best news this year...
Well have fun at the Bulldogs game,,, that was really soooo sweet of your ds1 to ask you to go. I would have opted for that over being home too...
Chinese take out it is..... super idea! fun too, (at least I think that chinese or Thai take out is always fun).

You have a wonderful weekend Teri, take it easy when you can. TTYL

sounds like a nice weekend though, (I like quiet weekends too, and am looking forward to one also this weekend. )

Have a nice read.... what ARE you reading? I'm reading Tick Tock by James Patterson,,, it's really exciting... have you read it?

Haven't read Tick Tock...I have gotten tired of James Patterson books...

I am reading Miss Pettybones first case....a Southern mystery...It's good...a fun and easy read.

Friday....Went out to lunch with my favorite sis-in-law today to YaYa's Eurobistro Restaurant, "our place". Exchanged Christmas gifts and had a great 3 hour visit! Tonight dh and I went to our pro soccer game and we won 12 - 10!! Exciting game!!

Saturday...We'll be taking dh's (our) middle grandson (age 15) out for lunch to Red Lobster. We like taking the grands out one at a time so they get all of our attention. For NYE, as far as I know we'll be home safely off the streets!!

Sunday...Church and out for Chinese dinner. The rest of the day we will relax and do nothing...I hope!!

Have a good weekend everyone!!

Hope you had a wonderful New year celebration ! the sea bass sounds YUM...hope it came out that way!

Diva just might be playing Diva & not eating because she is sad & misses her mommy & daddy.I'd worry if she was refusing all food & getting sick.

Not much going on here. Wayne is at work & I am home...alone & bored. I'm not one to go out by myself.

Sunday is church & work.

Sea bass for dinner sounds good!! We went out to eat for lunch and then had left overs for dinner tonight. I told J I'll try to remember how to cook again next week sometime..lol!! We've eaten out almost every day for the past two weeks!!

Pat may be right in that Diva is not eating for missing the people that she owns! Shelby always loses weight when we leave her too. Dependant little furbabes!

Glad your kids are fine and enjoying their time in Ankara.

You'll be getting up soon in the New Year! Enjoy your first day!

I would think that too about her missing her parents, but she's been having this eating thingy now for months. lat night she ate fine again but this morning 2 bites. Will have to take her to the vet I guess, thinking I better wait until dh gets back though incase they want to run tests, I don't want to make that decision.

I KWYM about cooking, but for some reason I just don't feel like cooking. I need to find some easy but different recipes I think,, in the new year, I'll try to concentrate on that.

If she checks out well at the vet and nothing is wrong with her, you may have to make your own food for her. There are human foods that are good for dogs and even better than dry or canned dog foods. I had a Siberian Huskey years ago that I had to do that for. Saber had a sensitive stomach and digestive system. I fed her according to the vet's suggestions and it worked well. My DD2 has a dog with sensitive digestion, too, and also has to make his foods. There is information about it online.

Tonight I "cooked", as in boiled eggs, a tuna-egg salad and made us sandwiches. That was as close as I could get to cooking so far..lol!! Husband is already talking about going out for breakfast tomorrow. I told him Tuesday night I weigh in and Wednesday it begins...oh, how I am dreading getting back on track!! It's gonna be a rough go of it for awhile!! I hope your new recipes work well for you. I can't even think about such things!!

Hi Donna, well last night she refused all the new food , so I tried the old food and she liked that, she also ate fairly well this morning (the old food again). Is she just being a diva? Making her own food: I had thought of that, but that is not as simple as it seems, as there are 2 households , one of which I have no control over. ;O) anyway, we'll see what happens . Thanks for all your input!

My dh is not big on sandwiches for dinner. I'm sick to death of cooking the same thing over and over so new recipes it is. I'm starting with lasagne rolls this week. Also will try new England clam chowder.
