OMG....Donna..if I EVER even mentioned to my DH to have a sandwich for dinner...he would be HIGHLY insulted.. I guess I have spoiled him, by cooking a big meal every nite..(except Saturday nite) that is date night !! lol !!!

My husband likes sandwiches anytime. He likes anything I fix for dinner, never complains, always says thank you. Maybe he just doesn't want the wrath of Donna coming down upon him!! LOL!!! Or, he doesn't want to have to fix his own dinners!! You have to remember, though, that this is a remarriage. I trained him even before we got married!! By our ages, we knew what we would and would not tolerate and food and cooking was one of mine!! Of course he would eat out every meal every day of the world if I let him!! Not kidding!! He chooses all the bad for you menu choices, though, and I'm trying to keep the man healthy, so I cook...most nights...and when I don't feel like cooking, he'll gladly eat anything. Whew, am I ever lucky...or maybe it's him that's lucky...lol!!
Suzan.....my dh can cook..simple things.....hamburgers..hot dogs....make tuna...he cooks breakfast every Saturday & Sunday mornings.
But, actually, he would rather go out & get some fast food...pizza, chinese...Mc D's..or a sub !!!!!...But to cook a BIG "normal" meal...that would never happen !! lol But , if push came to shove..he could/would do it under my supervision. When I had the rotator cuff surgery.....he did cook alot....w/me telling him what to do ! lol

HI Bunny, good to see I am not alone in the "no sandwiches for dinner" concept.
