We are going to see my mom tomorrow. I have to be the one to tell her her sister has been put on Hospice. Her sis is 95 yrs old and has been having mini strokes and a heart attack. And now they say she has congestive heart failure.

well strange as that comment may be it's not all that far fetched...
Sad but yes IMHO it's important to be up front and honest and let people know about their loved ones (when it' s serious).
I don't have an appt. with my ENT for 4 months, but I have one with my GP in January. I'll mention the congestion and hoarseness to the doc on Tuesday when I have the second scan - if I still have it.

Can't hurt. Take care,,, , how's Millie now? Cuddling or napping in the closet.... must be nice and cozy in there!
I guess mostly I want to be reassured the RAI didn't do anything to my vocal cords that would make me sound worse than I did. Dh says I sound worse in the morning and that's when the congested feeling is worse, so I'm hoping a little congestion is all it is and it'll clear out soon and I'll have what meager voice I had back.
Millie is still very cuddly in the morning. As soon as I sit down to read, she's on my lap, purring and rubbing and insisting I pet her.
I'm in Florida!
