Weekend: What's up?

Finally I was able to sign in.....

I'm patiently waiting for the inlaws plane to land.  All is ready.  I've moved my laptop upstairs (off the dining room table  LOL).  Coffee is here with me this afternoon.

Yesterday spent the afternoon with Mikey at dil's (not here).  Much easier over there, I don't have a small crib here,, which I am thinking might be a good idea, just have to talk dh into it.  ;O)

Sunday, plan to take MIL/FIL out to lunch and view the XMAS tree at the Mercedes Benz Showroom, then proceed to the town's local Christmas market /with live music.  Then home and will rest a bit then start dinner (baked salmon), ds , dil , Mikey will come over for dinner to show off the baby.

No plans for Monday, except cleaning lady arrives in the afternoon.  I have made no other plans for the time they are here and don't plan to make any. ;O)

I'll be here when I  can ,  have a nice weekend .... "see" ya soon .

So what are you all up to?

That's probably what we'll do, too. I figure she can sleep in this room on the futon with a rail or my neighbor says she puts a foam "swim noodle" under the bedding on one side and that makes enough of a ridge so the grands don't fall out.

Ann...my grands slept in the porta crib until they were pretty big and ready for a regular bed. They could still stretch out in it, but with little room at head and foot. They never complained and they slept well in it. Next thing we got was a bed rail like this one. I also stacked pillows on the floor beside the bed.

Ann...No, I don't recall you saying the party was at the Harley Dealership!! That would make it more fun!! Glad you were happy to see the people you only see once a year. Guess I just wasn't all that fond of the people I had to see once a year..lol!! Glad you had a fun time!

The party was a lot of fun. It was interesting to see all the Harleys from first to latest model and all the ways they've been used through the years. I did tell you all it was at the Harley Davidson Museum, didn't I?  It was and I was a little surprised to see they also had a nice room for parties, too.  We ate like kings, the atmosphere was relaxed and casual and it was nice to see friends we sometimes only see once a year at the party, lol!

That's a nice little crib! I have a pack n play here and it is kind of a reach to get Riley sometimes. But it has a nice little mattress in it, so it's comfortable for her anyway. Pretty soon, though, we're going to have to start thinking of where she'll sleep when she outgrows the pack n play!
