The main star is Mary McCormack, plays Mary Shannon who is a U.S. Marshal in the Federal Witness Protection Program (WITSEC), along with her partner Marshall Mann (played by Fred Weller). They protect federal witnesses in high profile cases who opt to go into witness protection and take on new identies. The main setting is in Albuquerque/Sante Fe area. This is the final season and the last show airs May 4. Guess I'll have to find something else to watch--but maybe I'll just turn to reading more (lol)!

I really liked Peony but have to say that it was the first and only book I have read from Lisa See. I bought the one you suggested Snow.... and will read that , but am also thinking one of those books would have been enough.

Maybe one would be enough, because I LOVED Snowflower. . . , but didn't care much for Peony . . .
