Ann, it's because I don't want to pay the high fee for the extras!! I do love texting, though, as I'm not a phone person.

Suzan, would you believe I forgot?!! After running our errands after the movie, we went home. After fixing and eating dinner, I suddenly remembered that we had planned on eating out!! So, we planned on eating out tonight instead. I forgot again!! I'm so used to cooking and eating at home now that I don't think much about eating out anymore!! lol
We liked the movie a lot!! It is sad what can happen in a relationship when communication fails. It was sad, funny, sweet and had a great ending!! Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones were excellent!! If you see this movie, see it alone just you and your husband. Do not see it with your kids!! Trust me on that!!
twig04 wrote:Hi Donna,,,enjoy your new phone.... too bad the other one broke,, guess it was just time for a new one! (glad you whined..... )LOL
My new phone is okay, serves the purpose. I don't get the fancy type for I only do calling and texting. Couldn't believe it broke!! Have never had one break before and I had my other ones way longer than I had this one!! Oh, well.
Ann, I don't have a complex cell phone either,,, it can take a photo but have never tried. I don't text either and make about 12 calls a year on the thing. LOL The reason I have one at all, is in the case of a flat tire or I run out of gas, I can phone my dh and he can come and save the day. LOL

Mine can take photos, too, and I know how, but seldom take any. For years mine was the only cell phone we had, but Tom thought it might be nice to each have one, so about a year ago we went to a family plan and he got his own phone. We only use them for long distance calling and when he is camping. Before, he had to take the cell camping and I was left with no phone but the landline phone.

Someday (said as if I'm 20, not pushing 61) we'll step into the 2010's and get better phones with a better data plan. But for now, it does what I want, so I'm happy.
Yes, the non-QWERTY did take some getting used to, but I have it down pat now..lol!! Another reason I have a simple cell phone is that the keys are larger and fit my fingertips better. I don't know how people use the ones with the teeny tiny keys, especially men with their larger fingers!! They would have to bring the usage cost WAY down for me to get a more fancy phone!! I'm happy with mine too.
