Hmmmmm....dark..dreary..depressing & pouring out.
Really a pretty day here today. Kinda cool but sunny outside.
my only whine for the day is I don't feel good.
Added wow: the cake looks good. It rose higher (I used an extra orange and new baking powder) and looks perfect. Hopefully, it will release from the pan well.
Added Whine: We got a thing from our insurance company saying my doctor hadn't sent them some vital stuff, despite "repeated requests", so they couldn't cover the hospital stay.

I have nothing to whine about today...
We had a wonderful trip to TX and visiting with ds and family
DIL fixed a very nice Tday dinner...We also ate out a few times and I tried food I've never had...loved it all.
We took our time driving home and enjoyed it. It was really nice to get away for awhile...
