Best Friends??

I had a 'falling out' about a year ago with my Best Friend (or so I thought) who was also my roommate at the time. It was complicated, she had been avoiding telling me things about a guy she was dating, (because he was a friend of her recent ex of 6 years) and she was hiding it from him and still seeing him 'casually'. But she didn't have a problem telling another mutual friend of ours of the relationship, which started an air of dishonesty in our home. Then one night a group of us attended a professional sporting event. And after a few drinks, she and I got in an altercation..

If she hasn't responded to your previous attempts, I'd leave it alone.

And as a mother, I have to ask... what were you thinking leaving the stadium and walking two miles in an unfamiliar city? And what did you expect your friend and the others to do? How would they have found you?

Friendships sometimes peter out. It seems to me that when people start physically pushing each other around and storming off by themselves in a strange city that friendship has nothing to do with the relationship any more.

Your life is busy now and hopefully you've grown up and you aren't having physical altercations with people or running off alone in the night. Grow up and be a mother to your child and NO, don't chase after somebody who brings out the worst in you. The friendship is over, and it sounds like it should be.
