I'm feeling kind of down these days...so this afternoon when I went to my hairdresser for a hair trim, I told her I needed a pick-me-up and wanted a blue streak put in my hair!

Love it Sally, I keep mine foiled to cover the white (no grey here it's pure white) one of the young ladies I knit with has done the blue steeks in her hair too (both side of her head) I told her come football I want to see one of them lime green & the other SeaHawk blue. She just laughted at me.
Tres cool! I have medium brown hair that is going gray....I color it a few times a year....but now I have some stubborn grays that won't take the color...very coarse, like wire! It's okay, I like it. I earned it! (I'm 52)

Just after my little brother passed away, I started to participate in a 5K for epilepsy (its what took my brother from us) in Washington DC. I would pack up after work on Friday & go by myself for the weekend.
One year feeling like I should do something special....I got my belly button pierced! I hid it for a while....dh was NOT happy with me, but he got over it!!!
So Yea....I guess I have done something just as goofy!!! :)
I'm 52 too until the middle of May (really 49 & holding until I turn 59) LOL. I have meduim dark hair too {my maternail grandmother was a flaming red head & I have alot of red pigmation in my hair} so I'm going white not grey.
