My stepmom has dementia, is in her own home and her sister does have the durable power of attorney. My stepmom recognizes some people but can't handle her finances or make decisions for herself anymore. I think my stepmom's sister is just jealous of my relationship I have with her sister.

I sure appreciate the answer.

I had power of attorney for my mother when she got older and needed oversight.
