I just had to vent a bit....

I have an Aunt "Maude" that drives everyone in my family nuts! She lives in a snooty part of town with my uncle and my grandmother, and she thinks her poo doesnt stink. My grandma is the sweetest person in the world, and she lets Maude walk all over her and talk to her like she's an idiot. It makes my mom and me FURIOUS! She has narcolepsy, so my grandma has to schoffer her around (and of course she is a backseat driver.) She also finds "victims" to annoy in our family. For the moment shes chosen my cousin and his wife - she will call them EVERYDAY and basically pesters them and tells them what to do, how to do this, etc. Then she will invite herself over for dinner and nitpick everything about thier home and their dog, etc.

She can be soooo snobby that she seems downright unappreciative. My mom bought her this nice potted plant to go in her garden, and she said rudely "NO THANK YOU!" and hung up on her. When we have gatherings, we dont say anything that will upset her b/c she will pick a fight and talk to you like youre gutter mold.

Sorry, just had to vent. Anyone else got some one they want to strangle and cant? LOL j/p

<<< Anyone else got some one they want to strangle and cant? >>>

LOL - which one?

Let's see... there's my DH's uncle, who hasn't spoken to us in 2 years because he thinks my DH insulted his hat once; then there's cousin C who thinks everyone's house is her free ride to groceries, telephone, etc.; even my dear step-daughter who thinks all her personal and financial problems are the fault of upbringing by her father; ane let's not forget my abusive step-mother who tried to murder (literally) my father... but let's not go into THAT one here.

Anyways, YES, I can certainly relate!
