Just venting here, but would appreciate any feedback!
My husband's biological mother gave him up for adoption to her aunt when he was 11 years old.

I completely agree with Lu on this one.
The person who issues an ultimatum usually ends up losing.
Sorry, but I have to agree with the others too. I wouldn't respond too kindly if someone gave me an ultimatum like that. And as Ohearto said, the one who gives the ultimatum, usually loses out. Is this the hill you really want to die on? When kids are 22, they are growing and "finding themselves". I remember at that age, being very resilient and "forgetting" about what people did in the past. Maybe we all need to follow the lead of some of these kids. Anyone know of any 22 year old, I can adopt? :smileyhappy:
