Fight with Sister.....

Both my sister and I are grown with children. While we have always had a strained relationship. She is older and so that means she was a mothering type and I was a younger middle child and very distant and rebellious. I seem to be always trying to make up for my past failings and now as adults can't seem to get everything right.
She recently moved out of province before she moved she wrote me and said we aren't sisters just like distant cousins and it hurt so much. Afterwards she made it clear we are not welcome to visit as we are not interested in seeing her just where she lives.

She needs to get over herself!!! The past is the past & its OVER!! You were a kid & you did stupid things...that I'm sure you've apologized for more than once!!!!
I feel terribly for you....you seem to want this to be your fault. BUT this is NOT your fault!!! This is your sister's hang up & it sounds to me like she's never going to let you live it down....
Family is what you make it... You have what sounds like a great husband & kids... Focus on the good things....and leave the ball in her court!!!
