Trying to get away from this person, but prob. gonna run into him on occasion.

They are VERY aggressive about their political party & have always called anyone NOT democrat - an insane idiot.
(Back when we were friends) you could NOT walk outside without them getting you in a conversation that ultimately (quickly) went to Demo. stuff & trashed Repubs, etc. I think - after 18 yrs of them being my neighbors -I just can not take it anymore.
They've made it known --- up til recently - that we were the ONLY people they like in the neighborhood. (imagine it's diff. now - who knows WHAT the compulsive liar has told his parents....)
But -- I've just never met ANYONE who is so openly hateful of others.....part. due to poli. party. She's a mom - she can be nice -- she's in her 60s, I'd say --- -but I've just never known anyone so mom-like to just bitch 24/7, ok maybe 22/7. Just never known an "older" person to be so openly hateful - of most everyone. To outright call them names!
She knows we are Repubs --- (but actually not strong ones).....I have a lot of Demo beliefs too ---- and I'm sure I'm not insane.
Maybe I've gotten on to just plain venting here -----
but I tell ya what! --- 2011 has been quite a year -----
Family & neighbors have just been nothing but complaining all year. Just have to back away. Can't take it anymore.
FUNNY THING: This same lady got onto my Facebook & into a conversation w/one of my friends. She practically got into a fight w/my friend! I had to apologize to the friend behind the scenes.
Then lady goes: Come on over (to ME) & we'll have a bottle of wine - and I'll spend 2 hours telling you what such&such corporation has done to us!!!!!
I thought - Gee As enticing as that sounds - I think I'll pass!!!!
HAHA. Like I'd WANT to hear 2 more hours of aggressive bitching that would ultimately turn to Demo stuff. I'd rather undergo some horrific medical procedure than do that!!!!! (further interesting thing --- and this was the last contact I had w/her about 2 mos ago ----- is that I think she's offended b/c I don't want to make that date!)
I don't like it, either, when someone tries to push their politics down my throat.
Thanks JoJo, just performing a quick search, I found something from 2007 indicating that sex offenders here cannot live within 1000 miles of schools, childcare facilities or the victim.
If you knew them.... it is just all they are about: being democrats & politics.

Way to teach her to hide, and not have anyone stand up for her, nor do the right thing, which would have been calling the cops.

I just feel this is a tricky situation. I feel things would've been much more dangerous IF I'd called the police.
