I would like some feedback on how to approach an issue with a housemate, mainly that she is rude and unfriendly to me.

Well, I don’t think you’ll like what I have to say, but here goes.

You’re a landlord, M & N are tenants.

I'm with you on this one. When does her lease end? I'd tell her beforehand (just barely) that it wasn't working for you (for whatever reason, if you decide to give her one) and then give her the boot!

I can only imagine how awful it would be to have someone living in my home that acted like she couldn't stand me. Ugh.

I can only imagine what it would be like to be paying my rent on time, doing my share of the chores, going to work every day and coming home to a landlord (who I purposefully haven't developed a personal relationship with

Again, in my home, no one will live there who treats me like crap. It's not just her not wanting a friendship with a demanding landlord, like is being depicted in some of these posts. You just want civility, and she's not giving even that much. She's putting out a bad vibe, and that's different altogether. I get it.

Your home, your prerogative to have whoever you want to live with you. Just because she gives you money doesn't mean she can act any way she wants.

When is her lease up? Sorry if you already said.

The OP isn't childish, and you didn't answer my questions at all.

And if all those things are true what you wrote, the tenant is still a witch.

It's not like she lives in a separate unit. She lives inside the same apartment, and you probably ought to re-read what the OP wrote.

But whatever, you'll think what you want, and I will, also.

Too bad you're so often too quick to judge and condemn.

So cat, do I understand you to say that you and I shouldn't become roommates?

Who knows? We might actually surprise each other.

(hope you like lots of animals...)
