Too often people read things into what has been presented.
I'll continue to be silent.
I can see no positive things coming from you and your family going to the get together. Your billion and yourself are already girded for things to go wrong and not pleasant. With the dynamics you have described and as a mom to special needs I vote you and your family stay home and enjoy each other than go to your sisters and be miserable.
I totally agree with you.
