No. I can't imagine doing something like that. That would floor me too. She wants to see her friends' kids' Easter egg hunt? What about her own grandchildren? This woman is beyond mean.
I sometimes wonder what her issues really are. SIL is diagnosed bipolar, and has anger management and substance abuse (drinking) problems on top of that, and DH's brother isn't diagnosed with any mental disorders, but 5 minutes with him and you can tell he's not all there, he too has had problems with alcohol in the past.
Yes, literally her friend's daughter is coming to town with her 2 kids, and MIL is going there because she is SO excited to see these two kids, while her own grandchildren (DH's brother is bringing his 2 kids over too, because his wife doesn't celebrate Easter) will be 3 minutes away.
