Your SO will not be back for 9 months, so your moving won't affect him either way (unless, when he's on leave he won't be able to visit you or you to visit him). Is there anyone else that can look after your mum? Are there any schools nearby (or within a reasonable commuting distance) to your mum's house? Whatever you do, don't put off getting your degree until "the time is right". The time may never be right. I take it a master's is very important in your field. Cat, Sometimes people are admitted to the E.R. With Anxiety a.k.a. (Panic Attacks) because, they can mimic signs of a heart attack. Shortness of breath, Tacky Cardia (rapid heart beat), Chest pains,

My mind went straight to wondering about the timing of her mom's E/R visit. Maybe she'll come back and tell us more.
