<< What would be the point then of her being my friend if I block posts from her? >>

A FB friend isn't necessarily a real "friend". Think of those that have several hundred people they don't even know personally.

As to the point? Not to ruffle feathers, and keep her from seeing things you don't want her to, both at the same time. I don't know the particulars of how to do it, but I bet some people here can chime in and help.

I recently deleted my sister and brother and I have ultimate freedom to post without wondering what their comments will be. If you can avoid it I would not add her. I'm sorry I don't know how to adjust your settings to avoid having her see your posts. I think it has something to do with the family, co-workers etc.

Maybe your husband can show you how to do that, or the nieces and nephews? You don't have to block posts that
