If it was a healthy relationship where both of you were contributing to the friendship, then, yes, by all means...you owe it to her to be there!!! BUT, this hardly sounds like a healthy friendship to me... so I don't really think that you owe her anything.
She sounds like she does things like this for attention!!! She likes the buzz & the questions & being the center of attention.
I think by "being there" for her...you're only feeding into her need for attention!!!
