Ummmm, I don't know how to say this but...... Your Mom Is Whacko!
I remember long ago my grandma saying, "If you wait until you can afford children, you'll never have them." So, best think about that for a minute because never truer words have been spoken; IMO.

Are you still living with your mum? I hope not (or you're very close to moving out). Your mum does sound very toxic and she buts her nose where it doesn't belong. Whether or not you have kids is a very personal choice and she doesn't get a vote.
My grandma was a "buttinsky" and wanted very Eastern European names for us. She didn't care that we had another parent from the UK, who should get half of the vote.
How dare your mother to EVER suggest such a horrible thing to her own daughter.
