How our moms cope with everyday life leads me ot believe hey are sisters or clones lol.

I think you realized a very important detail. It isn't that this particular holiday is significant above the rest or she never gets to see you and is therefore a reason to get worked up- you live with her! It is just how so many things in her life go.

Your mom needs professional help. She has been pushing the problems onto you and it is't fair. Please read my post Momma Drama and you'll see what I mean. I would appreciate your advise too.

I've bee there with my mother. I don't know how negative your mom is, but after I have been with her I go home drained from all her complaining and negativeness. This is not healthy for me. I think a psycologist is just the thing for my mom.
